College Counselling

A- For universities in Europe, there is no one-stop-shop to find IB requirements per subject.

       Students need to visit the Course page of the institution of their choice and check the requirement if there is any.

B-  EPFL in Switzerland requires Math (HL) and Physics (HL) for any engineering.

C- The Netherlands in general: (the three most selective majors)

1.  Economics, econometrics and (international) business studies: 

   • Mathematics SL  

2.  Universities of applied sciences:  

   • Mathematics HL  

   • Physics HL (chemistry at HL instead of physics for certain fields) 

   • Chemistry SL (or physics at SL when chemistry is offered at HL) 

3.  Medical and related fields: 

   • Biology HL 

   • Chemistry SL 

   • Physics at SL 

   • Mathematics SL

Admission may vary by institution, so students need to carry their own research.
