Day 1: Check in 4-6pm; dinner 6:30
Day 2: Workshops 8am-3:30pm
Day 3: Workshops 8am 3:30 pm
Day 4: Workshops 8-11:30am
Workshops
Workshops are $1245; this includes ALL meals (not lodging)
CAWS is unique in offering dinner and a social hour each night as well as a lunch to go on the last day of the conference; no per diem is required (except for travel days)
All workshops take place at the Granlibakken Resort which is nestled amongst pine trees at 6350 feet elevation about a mile from the shores of Lake Tahoe, widely considered one of the most beautiful lakes in the world
The environment offers a special experience for IB training and many IB Educators treat this as an opportunity for a retreat, sending teams of teachers

IMPORTANT: Please do not purchase your non-refundable airfare until CAWS has sent you a Final Confirmation email. We reserve the right to withdraw any session due to low enrollment.
Cancellation Policy
CAWS will refund the registration fee less $100 or give full credit toward a future CAWS workshop if cancelled before June 1. For cancellations after June 1 there are no refunds but we will give full credit toward a future CAWS workshop.

You are new to the faculty of a longstanding IB World School and have not taught in an IB programme previously.
You are aware of the IB philosophy and programme structure but are not experienced in teaching or administering the IB.
You are familiar with the IB subject guide (including assessment procedures, moderation) and would like greater confidence before teaching a course.
You have inherited a course and would like a review before teaching it to suit your own style and expertise.
