We are very proud of our library collection. We currently have over 9,500 titles available. Our collection includes fiction, non-fiction, biographies, graphic titles, and professional resources. Atriuum allows students to search for titles available in our collection by author, title, subject, series title, ISBN, Dewey, and call number. If a title is unavailable, it can be put on reserve. Students will be notified when reserved items have been returned.
SFMS Media Center Access
Before school each day, our Media Center is available as a makeup test area for students who missed tests due to absences. Students may arrive as early as 7:10 for makeup testing.
During the school day, we also welcome students for checkouts, returns, and renewals, but we ask that students have a pass from a teacher if they visit during class time.
Each student may check out up to two books at a time for a period of two weeks.
Scheduling
The library operates on a flexible schedule. Teachers bring classes for group learning activities, book checkouts, and research. All scheduling should be arranged through Mrs. Milstead.
