My name is Mrs. Amanda Lilley, and I am so excited to be your 5th grade teacher this year! This will be my first year at J. Larry Newton School, and I am THRILLED to be a part of the 5th grade team. We are going to have an amazing year of learning and growing!
I am originally from Birmingham, Alabama. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Education from Auburn University. Once graduating, I taught in the Mountain Brook School System for six years. To continue my education, I pursued my Master of Arts in Education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, then later received my Educational Specialist degree and Post-Masters Certification in Instructional Leadership.
I married my husband, Nate, in October 2018 and moved to Dothan, Alabama where I taught in the Enterprise City School System for two years. We moved to Daphne in February 2020, and I couldn't be happier to be in the Baldwin County School System!
