TKK BPK PENABUR BANDA together with SDK BPK PENABUR BANDA has developed its Programme of Inquiry (POI) using the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP) curriculum framework. This incorporates local and global issues into the curriculum through six transdisciplinary themes. The themes are:

How the World Works
How We Organize Ourselves
Sharing the Planet
Through Units of Inquiry under each of these themes, our students develop within five essential elements: knowledge, concepts, skills, attitudes, and action. In tandem with the attributes and attitudes described in the Learner Profile, they develop the ability to work cooperatively, as well as learning to think creatively and critically.
