HORT 342: Landscape Plant Installation, Establishment, and Management

Principles and practices involved with establishment and maintenance of managed landscapes. Laboratory work involves site evaluation, installation techniques, postplant care, and maintenance of established landscape plants.

Landscape Architecture Guest Lectures

I presented in multiple courses in the Landscape Architecture Department on the topics of urban tree diversity, post-construction soil evaluation and remediation, plant establishment, and planting design. This included working with a studio course around the recovery of Marshalltown, IA following a tornado and planting pollinator gardens in a bioswale on campus.
