Every year incoming freshman wonder what the best halls are - but many of them do not have the answers. These are some suggested halls from college students who have seen them all.
Martin Hall is by far the most premium dormitory on campus. The rooms are huge, and they have a built-in living room. They are more expensive, and rooms are taken early, so incoming freshmen need to sign their housing contract as early as possible. Bonus: 4th floor rooms have lofts with tons of space for a sweet hangout spot.
Welch Hall seems like an old hall at first glance, but it was recently renovated. Brand new bathrooms are accessible to all rooms. Each dorm is very spacious for the same price as other lower quality rooms. The only downside is having no air conditioning, so be prepared to bring a box fan and use it for a few weeks a year!
Friley Hall is one of the biggest dormitories in the country. New wings have been added over the years, meaning some rooms feel newer than others. Some parts of the building have air conditioning. Friley is known for connected communities and random things happening all the time. However, the fire alarm may be pulled more than any hall on campus!
