Google Classroom makes it easy for teachers to record grades and update curriculum, and for students to request extensions and collaborate with other users. Students will need their Google Classroom accounts to be enabled before using CODE.ORG.
The CODE.ORG App Lab offers an interface that is versatile, accessible and scalable for students who wish to pursue careers in CS or related fields. In order to use the CODE.ORG website, teachers and students must create their own accounts and classrooms. Students can join CODE.ORG via a classroom code.
The Padlet interface is an accessible journaling tool for students to access anything you post. Padlet is used in the context of this class to foster a learning community and to ensure that all Wisdom that students gain is never lost. Padlet is free to use and does not require an account (unless you are a teacher.)
The Miro interface offers a variety of tools for students who prefer to use digital tools when creating their mind maps. Miro's inclusive toolkit includes everything that a student will need to create an expansive mind-map and to customize it with ease. Perfect for students and mentors who have prior experience using online tools.
