Dr. Brian Sharp is an Associate Professor of Mathematics at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Sharp specializes in Mathematics Education, the History of Mathematics, and Educational Technology. He has made several international and national presentations in which he digitally analyzes mathematical concepts in art, architecture and nature, including presentations at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC and at the University of Hradec Králové in the Czech Republic. Dr. Sharp is known for his hands-on teaching style and his ability to make connections between mathematics and real-world phenomena.
