The Indiana County Fife and Drum Corps has been busy participating in numerous local events commemorating America’s 250th Birthday with many more performances on the calendar.
We have raised funding up to this point (January 2026) from grants and several personal donations which have covered the cost of drums ($3200), practice fifes ($500), sample uniform parts ($340).
One of our objectives laid out in the formation of this group is to "bring history to life through music." The last step in fulfilling that objective is being able to have the students transport themselves and their audiences to 1776 by wearing time period clothing.
Will you help us reach this goal? The uniform pieces include:
Cocked Hat - $85
Workshirt - $52
Fall Front Knee Breeches - $200
Waistcoat - $185
Stockings - $19.50
The group is in need of funding for uniforms and travel. In order to be outfitted in colonial uniforms, we need to raise $541.50 per student. The corps has 31 student members so will cost $16,786.50 to outfit the group.
