Ode to the Black Fiddler (OBF) is New York City’s leading platform for string musicians of color pushing the boundaries of genre and tradition. Since 2017, OBF has highlighted the depth, range, and innovation of Black and Brown artists shaping the future of music across classical, jazz, hip-hop, roots, experimental, and more.
