Accommodation

It is up to you to arrange your own accommodation. There is plenty of room at the conference hotel, or you may decide to find your own or stay with friends.

There is a possibility to stay at the conference hotel and once you have a confirmed place details will be provided and you can make a reservation if you so wish. You will be provided with a code to receive a discount but places are limited. Once your registration has been accepted you will be sent a link with a special code for the conference discount rate. Do not attempt to book your accommodation until you have received this.

Our conference venue is a superior 4 star hotel in Limassol, the Mediterranean Beach Hotel is a luxury escape that embodies the best qualities of island hospitality which boasts a calming, tranquil atmosphere with exquisite beaches on its doorstep and year-round sunshine.

A total of 130 rooms to accommodate up to 200 guests have been reserved for the IAESTE Annual Conference and Alumni Conference registered & approved participants and will be allocated on a First Come First Serve basis.

IMPORTANT:

Please bear in mind that as the only public transportation available on our island are buses which operate on reduced schedules during winter season, it is strongly advised that all participants book at the conference venue hotel, the Mediterranean Beach Hotel.

During our conference, there will be construction work on the hotel property (Mediterranean Residential Tower) which is anticipated to be completed in December 2019. This work is not expected to affect our conference and the Hotel Management has committed to keep the construction disturbance to the very minimum and apologizes in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

IAESTE Cyprus and IAESTE A.s.b.l. are not responsible for lodging arrangements. All lodging inquires should be directed to your hotel directly.

SHARED ACCOMMODATION

Should you elect to share a room, it is your shared responsibility to arrange and confirm your hotel booking and it is highly recommended that you align your check-in/check-out dates as the hotel rates vary based on the number of room occupants.

In the event your group’s shared room dates do not align; i.e., a member(s) within your group has different arrival and/or departure dates, separate bookings based on your group occupancy are required accordingly. It is your responsibility to communicate with the hotel directly to “merge” your group’s bookings.
