About

ICELAM is an international conference focusing on the latest developments and sharing of knowledge in educational leadership and management. It was initially known as the Regional Conference on Educational Leadership and Management (RCELAM) and was organised by IAB billenially since 2009.

The theme of 1st ICELAM 2019 is “Leading Schools in a VUCA World”. VUCA is an acronym that denotes Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity. The world today has become more complex, volatile, difficult to predict, and comprehend. The challenges in a VUCA world require school leaders to seek new orientations and take fresh approaches to manage their organisations and understand the psychosocial foundations of education.
