About
The emergence of 6G communication systems is transforming the future of pervasive computing by enabling intelligent, context-aware, and highly distributed Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystems. Future pervasive applications will rely on seamless collaboration among edge devices, cloud platforms, terrestrial and non-terrestrial networks, AI-driven services, and cyber-physical systems to deliver scalable, resilient, and intelligent services.
The 5th International Workshop on Distributed Computing for Intelligent and Pervasive 6G IoT Networks (6DCIoT 2027) provides a premier interdisciplinary forum for researchers, practitioners, and industry experts to present innovative research addressing distributed intelligence, pervasive computing, edge AI, and next-generation IoT systems enabled by 6G.
The workshop aims to foster collaboration across the communities of pervasive computing, distributed systems, artificial intelligence, communication networks, and Internet of Things, while identifying emerging research challenges and future directions.

Submitted papers should be six pages in length, with the option to include one additional page, for a maximum of seven pages. Manuscripts must follow the IEEE Computer Society formatting guidelines. All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer-review process. Authors must therefore make a good-faith effort to anonymize their manuscripts. Submissions must present original, unpublished work that is not currently under review at any other venue. Posting a preprint of the submitted work on an online repository, such as arXiv, prior to submission does not disqualify the paper from consideration. Reviewers will also be explicitly instructed not to search for preprints of submitted manuscripts. However, papers that do not adequately comply with the double-blind review requirements may be rejected without further review.
At least one author of each accepted paper must present the work in person. Remote presentations will not be permitted. Each accepted workshop paper requires at least one full PerCom registration; workshop-only and student registrations will not satisfy this requirement. Accepted papers will be included in the IEEE PerCom 2027 Workshop Proceedings and submitted for publication in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library, subject to IEEE publication policies.
