This workshop is designed to explore the fusion of distributed computing paradigms with the advanced capabilities of 6G networks to enhance IoT systems. It will provide a platform for discussion on network architectures, distributed computing models, resource management, AI, edge computing, and orchestration strategies for 6G IoT. The scope of this workshop includes discussions on enabling technologies such as ubiquitous and long-range communication, mobile and aerial edge computing, wirelessly powered networks; standardization efforts and interoperability issues; identifying emerging trends, opportunities, and future directions in the field of 6G IoT. The outline of the workshop is mentioned below. The workshop is timely due to the rapid advancements and impending rollout of 6G technology. Scheduled for commercial deployment by the late 2020s, 6G promises enhanced speed, reduced latency, and increased device density, essential for sophisticated IoT applications like autonomous vehicles and smart cities. This workshop prepares participants for the imminent challenges and opportunities, fostering early discussions on emerging trends and pioneering research. It equips professionals, researchers, and policymakers to harness 6G IoT networks' full potential, driving technological and economic growth.
