Welcome back to WMS and welcome to Team 72! This is my 7th year at Wilbraham Middle School and very happy to be teaching 7th Grade Science once again. This year, our science investigations will include Ecosystems, Earth systems (think earthquakes and volcanoes!), and Energy. I can't wait to get started!

Welcome back Team 72! This is my fourth year at Wilbraham Middle School and my 13th year teaching middle school math/science/STEM. I am excited to continue to provide STEM curriculum to the 7th grade with a focus on the Engineering Design Process; materials, tools, and manufacturing; and technological systems. Welcome back! I am so happy to be your math teacher this year. This is my 18th year teaching math at WMS and my 23rd as an educator. I spent the last 17 years teaching 8th grade Pre-Algebra and Algebra and I am extremely excited for something new!
I know it's hard to believe, but math is all around us. This year I hope to show you how it can relate to your everyday life and also how learning math can improve your problem solving skills and critical thinking. We will focus on many types of mathematical relationships and how they relate to each other. This will include units on scale drawings, proportional relationships, percentages, properties of circles, computing with rational numbers, expressions and equations, angle relationships and probability.

This year I will be teaching Math, ELA, Reading Comprehension, and Academic Support.
