To all the Kindergarten families in HWRSD…please know I am honestly thrilled to be teaching Kindergarten to your children although it is under unprecedented and difficult times. Throughout my career, Kindergarten has always been my first love and I promise to make teaching and learning as engaging as I can for your child!

A bit about me…
A bit about me…
I graduated from Assumption College in 2002 and began teaching Preschool at Springfield College’s Early Childhood Development Center. I learned a tremendous amount about early childhood development during this time and received my Master’s Degree from Springfield College in 2005. From the Fall of 2005 until 2015, I worked for both Springfield and Boston Public Schools and I have held the positions of Kindergarten Teacher and an Instructional Literacy Coach before taking a position at HWRSD. I completed my CAGS from ELMS College in 2018 and I am always seeking professional development to improve my teaching craft.

Meet Mrs. Shute
Hello everyone! I am very excited to be joining the Kindergarten and grade one teams in creating Google slide decks for your use as well as being a small group instructor for kindergarten. I have been teaching kindergarten for 18 years, all of them at Green Meadows! I have my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education from Stonehill College and my Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education from Worcester State University. I live in central Massachusetts with my husband and two girls ages 7 and 10. We enjoy "glamping," hiking and being outside.
