HES LIBRARY MEDIA CENTER

WELCOME TO THE HES LIBRARY MEDIA CENTER

At HES, our Library Media Center is more than a room, it is a vibrant program designed to stimulate our students' learning through reading and creative exploration!

Students visit the Library once each 6-day cycle for Library/Media instruction and book selection.  See our Curriculum tab for more specifics on how our students are becoming strong readers, discerning information seekers, and savvy tech users and designers!

Our physical space includes a collection of over 8,000 print books, desktop and Chromebook computer workstations, a SmartBoard, comfortable and flexible seating areas, and more.

Our digital space includes a curated collection of resources for students and families to use in-school and at-home.  We subscribe to a varied collection of educational sites to assist in research, homework, and general fact-finding.  We also offer a collection of e-books for student checkout.  See our Digital Resources and E-Book tabs for more information on how to access these programs.

Come visit our Library Media Center--in person or online--and see what what it's all about!
