All students in grades five through eight are required to participate in the science fair and will work individually.  Assignments are graded and will count towards a student's final average.  Some science fair steps may be started in school, however work at home will be necessary. The experiment and final backboard design will be completed entirely at home.  Students may complete a science investigation or an engineering design project.  Ensure that the correct steps are followed.
