The local Authority deals with admissions to all county schools through the Admissions Office in Horsham. The address and telephone number can be found on the first page of the School Prospectus.
The general policy is to provide a place for your child at the designated school, which is normally your local school. Should the school be oversubscribed, a place will be offered at another school. If you express a preference for another school, your request will be agreed, unless there are more applications than places available.
All schools have a Published Admission Number (PAN). If the number of applications for a particular school is within its PAN, places can normally be offered to all who apply.
If your child is due to start school in September 2027 and you are considering Heron Way, we would love to welcome you for a visit.
Our School Tours will begin on Tuesday 6 October 2026 and will then take place every Tuesday and Thursday at 9:30am, through to Thursday 3 December 2026.
Tours are led by me and are a wonderful opportunity to see Heron Way in action, get a real feel for our school and ask any questions you may have.
We ask that tours are attended by parents and carers only, without children. We want you to have the opportunity to look around the school, listen, chat and ask all the questions you need without distraction. There will be plenty of opportunities for children to visit Heron Way themselves as part of our transition arrangements later on.
Please note: these tours are specifically for parents and carers of children due to start school in September 2027.
For more information, or to reserve your place on one of our tours, please contact the school office from September 2026 on:

I look forward to meeting you soon - James Crump
To give you a little insight into what we will offer your children here at Heron Way. The presentation will outline the experiences and opportunities that your child will have in and around the school, allow you to have a greater understanding of our ethos and to start building a strong and cohesive partnership.
