Ein athroniaeth yn Ysgol Y Ffridd yw darparu hafan hapus mewn awyrgylch groesawus a chyffroes i annog ein disgyblion i fod yn ddysgwyr annibynnol, hyderus mewn byd cystadleuol prysur. "Mae ethos cartrefol, clos gan yr ysgol, lle mae perthynas iach o barch a gofal rhwng y staff a’r disgyblion." Estyn 2016.
Gwerthfawrogwn fod pob disgybl yn wahanol ac ymdrinir â hwy yn sensitif gan flaenoriaethu ar eu anghenion unigol. Darparwn brofiadau eang a chytwbys fel sylfaen gadarn wrth i’n disgyblion ddatblygu i fod yn ddysgwyr hapus, aeddfed a chyfrifol ar gallu i gyfrannu i ddiwylliant ac ethos yr ysgol ar gymuned ehangach a bod “y gorau fedra’i fod..”
Our philosophy at Ysgol Y Ffridd is to provide a happy haven in a welcoming and exciting atmosphere to encourage our pupils to be confident, independent learners in a busy competitive world. We appreciate that each pupil is different and is dealt with sensitively prioritising on their individual needs. We provide a range of experiences as a solid foundation to enable our pupils to develop into happy, mature and responsible learners and being able to contribute to the school's culture and ethos in the wider community and be "the best I can be.."
