At Cornist Park we value every child. We want all our children to flourish and we work hard to help them reach their potential.
We believe that children are better prepared for their future in school and life outside of school if they have developed their 5 Creative Habits - Persistent, Imaginative, Collaborative, Disciplined and Inquisitive. Therefore, we aim to deliver an exciting, engaging curriculum that gives the children the opportunity to utilise and develop these habits.
The documents below explain how we build our curriculum here at school.
All schools in Wales create a School Improvement Plan or School Development Plan (there's no difference between these two documents) from which they base their school improvement upon. An SIP or SDP is a very detailed document that includes costs, resources and a large number of actions to give school a clear road map for reaching its intended targets. Below is a summarised version of our School Improvement Targets for visitors and parents.
If you read the document and you feel you could help school work towards these targets please do get in touch. A key way this can be done is by coming to school to share what you do for work with our children!Â
