Cwricwlwm i Gymru - A Curriculum for Wales
Mae'n amser cyffrous i ni yn Ysgol Cilgerran wrth i ni barhau gweithredu cwricwlwm newydd sbon sydd yn unigryw i Gymru. Mae Cwricwlwm i Gymru yn ein caniatáu i ddylunio profiadau a gweithgareddau sydd yn gweddu nid yn unig i draddodiadau a diwylliant Cymru, ond i'n hysgol, disgyblion a'r gymuned.
Gwyliwch y fidio byr gan Lywodraeth Cymru a darllenwch y wybodaeth atodedig.
It's an exciting time for us at Ysgol Cilgerran as we continue to implement the new curriculum which is unique to Wales. A Curriculum for Wales does not only allow us to design experiences and activities which will suit Wales's traditions and culture, but which will also suit our school, pupils and community.

Er mwyn helpu'r disgyblion i gyfarwyddo a deall y dibenion yn ystod eu gwaith, rydym wedi dylunio'r pedwar logo uchod.
To aid the pupils to familiarise themselves and gain a better understanding of the four purposes during their work, we have designed the above logos.

Y Pedwar Diben - The Four Purposes
Y pedwar diben, fel yr amlinellir gan ddogfen Dyfodol Llwyddiannus, yw'r sail ar gyfer yr holl cynllunio ar gyfer datblygu Cwricwlwm i Gymru.
Yn Ysgol Cilgerran, rydym eisoes wedi dylunio a llywio'r cwricwlwm ar lefel ysgol er mwyn darparu'r profiadau dysgu a gweithgareddau gorau i ddatblygu'r dibenion yma. Y nod yw i ddatblygu'r plant a phobl ifanc i fod yn:
- ddysgwyr uchelgeisiol, galluog sy’n barod i ddysgu drwy gydol eu hoes
- cyfranwyr mentrus, creadigol sy’n barod i chwarae eu rhan yn llawn yn eu bywyd a’u gwaith
- dinasyddion egwyddorol, gwybodus Cymru a’r byd
- unigolion iach, hyderus sy’n barod i fyw bywyd gan wireddu eu dyheadau fel aelodau gwerthfawr o gymdeithas.
Mae Cwricwlwm i Gymru wedi ei gynllunio i sicrhau bod pob dysgwr yn gwireddu'r pedwar diben. Mae pob diben yn fwy na phennawd; digrifir hwy yn nhermau nodweddion allweddol. Yn eu cyfanrwydd, dylent fod yn sail i'r holl addysgu a dysgu yng Nghymru.
The four purposes, as set out in the Successful Futures document, have guided the whole design of the new Curriculum for Wales.
At Ysgol Cilgerran, we have designed the curriculum on a school level to provide the best learning experiences and activities to develop these purposes. Our aim is to develop children and young people as:
ambitious, capable learners, ready to learn throughout their lives
enterprising, creative contributors, ready to play a full part in life and work
ethical, informed citizens of Wales and the world
healthy, confident individuals, ready to lead fulfilling lives as valued members of society.
A Curriculum for Wales has been designed to ensure all learners fulfill the four purposes. Every purpose is more than a headline; it is also described in terms of key characteristics. They should be used in their entirety to underpin all teaching and learning in Wales.

Mae'r chwe maes dysgu a phrofiad yn cael eu haddysgu a dysgu yn hytrach na'r pynciau traddodiadol presennol. Mae hyn yn gweddu ein ffordd o weithio'n gyfannol gan weithdredu ar ddulliau trawsgwricwlaidd.
Six areas of learning have replaced the more traditional subjects. This suits our way of implementing a holistic and cross-curricular method.
