This page is for current year 9 pupils who have just started their GCSE modules.
In Year 10 all pupils begin the WJEC GCSE The Sciences (Double Award) course. Students study key ideas from Biology, Chemistry and Physics, developing an understanding of how the natural world works. The course includes a range of scientific topics as well as opportunities to carry out practical investigations and develop skills in analysing data, interpreting results and explaining scientific ideas.
These skills help pupils build a strong foundation for success in science and support their wider numeracy, problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
Below you will find links to the appropriate BBC Bitesize pages, exam specification, and the GCSE Knowledge Organisers (these are concise sheets with an overview of the information that is required for each unit).
Further revision material and all our Blooket quizzes will be placed on the Let's Revise page and the 'Revise year 10' page in due course.
