Mae disgyblion grwpiau dysgu wedi'u bandio ar sail cyrhaeddiad cyfunol y disgyblion ardraws yr holl bynciau craidd.  Bydd disgyblion yn derbyn gwersi Cymraeg, Saesneg, Mathemateg, Gwyddoniaeth, Moeseg a Technoleg Gwybodaeth Sylfaenol yn y grwpiau dysgu hyn.  

Year 9 pupils have been distributed learning groups banded into cohorts based on the combined achievement of the pupils across all the core subjects. Pupils will receive lessons in Welsh, English, Mathematics, Science, Ethics and Foundation Information Technology in these learning groups.
