Year 9 Curriculum

Mae disgyblion blwyddyn 9 wedi ei dosbarthu mewn i 6 grwp dysgu (9P, 9E, 9N, 9T, 9R a 9F). Mae'r grwpiau dysgu wedi'u bandio mewn i dri carfan ar sail cyrhaeddiad cyfunol y disgyblion ardraws yr holl bynciau craidd. Bydd disgyblion yn derbyn gwersi Cymraeg, Saesneg, Mathemateg, Gwyddoniaeth, Moeseg a Technoleg Gwybodaeth Sylfaenol yn y grwpiau dysgu hyn.

Year 9 pupils have been distributed into 6 learning groups (9P, 9E, 9N, 9T, 9R and 9F). The learning groups are banded into three cohorts based on the combined achievement of the pupils across all the core subjects. Pupils will receive lessons in Welsh, English, Mathematics, Science, Ethics and Foundation Information Technology in these learning groups.

Bydd grwpiau 9P, 9E a 9N yn derbyn gwersi Addysg Gorfforol statudol gyda'i gilydd a bydd grwpiau 9T, 9R a 9F yn derbyn gwersi Addysg Gorfforol statudol gyda'i gilydd.

Mae disgyblion blwyddyn 9 wedi dewis 4 pwnc anghraidd i barhau i astudio ym mlwyddyn 9. Bydd y disgyblion wedi dewis 4 o'r pynciau isod:

Groups 9P, 9E & 9N receive their statutory Physical Education lessons together and groups 9T, 9R & 9F receive their statutory Physical Education lessons together.

Year 9 pupils have chosen 4 non-core subjects to continue studying in year 9. Pupils will have chosen 4 subjects from the list below:
