The Future of Farming and Climate

For our topic 'Penarlag and Beyond' we were focussing on the continent Africa and the children became interested in farming. We compared Johannesburg to our local area and thought about current global warming issues including droughts, and the effect this has on farmers. 

To further enhance our learning, we went on a school trip to the Xplore! Science Discovery Centre in Wrexham, where the children thought about the World's growing population and what farming might look like in the future.
