"During my six years here at Ysgol Y Strade, I have received so many excellent opportunities in all aspects of school life. I have received experiences in sports and academically that has been very useful for me, especially as I consider my journey beyond Ysgol Y Strade.

The school has a very close community and I've always felt that there is plenty of support and help available if needed. The warmth and friendliness of my teachers and fellow pupils has made me feel at ease and allowed me to push myself to achieve and excel in my studies. I will certainly have long-lasting happy memories of my time at Ysgol Y Strade and am honored to be selected as head prefect this year. Next year I hope to study Medicine at Cardiff University."

"During my time at Ysgol Y Strade, I have faced a number of challenges, especially during the lockdowns and periods of school closures. Even so, the school has time and time again been there to support me.

I am now a head prefect for the school, and it gives me great pride, happiness and fulfillment to support younger learners. I am grateful and thankful for every opportunity the school has given me, in my academic studies and beyond the classroom. After finishing my journey at Ysgol Y Strade, I plan on studying Engineering at University."
