These progression maps have been created to help practitioners plan for the progressive development in learners' digital skills. They have been structured according to various forms of digital work and are alligned to the Digital Competence Framework as well as the computation strand within the Science and Technology AoLE.Â
They can be used to:
help teachers plan for the development of the learners' skills.
ensure appropriate levels of challenge and ambition in tasks.
aid monitoring, evaluation and review activities.
aid schools and clusters to plan for progression in digital tasks.
develop consistent whole school approaches to digital learning.
