We are pleased to share that the school has been successful in receiving one of the FREE wildlife garden packs from the Anglesey Local Nature Partnership and Keep Wales Tidy. The Eco Council, led by Miss Nicola Jones and Mr Jonathan Jones, have been very busy recently.
A big thank you also to Mr Alwyn Jones (Miss Jones’s father), who has been hard at work transporting and filling the flower beds with soil.
Thank you to Mrs Moore and the many pupils in Graig Fawr who gave their time to colour hearts to help the Home Bargains store decorate for the celebration of St Dwynwen’s Day.
Friendly Football Match
A group of Year 5 and Year 6 boys travelled to Holyhead for a friendly football match against the Year 5 boys from Ysgol Gymraeg Morswyn. Thank you to Mr Gwilym for coaching the boys.
Open the Book.
It was lovely to welcome our friends from ‘Open the Book’ to lead a service with both units; Graig Fach and Graig Fawr.
The story to start the new year was Jesus in the Temple with pupils from
classes Cwyfan and Edwen reading and acting.
As a school, we are very grateful to them for visiting monthly, and everyone – pupils and staff alike – really enjoy the services.
