Our Reception Nativity
We are so proud of our Reception children and staff for their fantastic Nativity performance! You brought the story to life beautifully, and we loved the creative modern twist you added. The traditional shepherds becoming farmers and the innkeepers transforming into hoteliers was such a clever idea. It made the performance feel fresh and fun while still keeping the heart of the story.
Your confidence, enthusiasm, and teamwork shone through every moment. It was wonderful to see how much effort you all put into learning your lines, singing your songs, and performing with such joy.
A big thank you to all the parents for your incredible support, especially with the costumes. Your time and effort helped make the performance so special, and we truly appreciate everything you did to bring the characters to life.
Well done, Reception, you were amazing!

Christmas Jumper Day ! 'Save the Children'
A huge thank you to everyone in our school community who joined in for Christmas Jumper Day (or festive clothes!) on Thursday, 11th December. Your generosity and festive spirit have made a real difference.
By pulling on your Christmassy knits and donating, you’ve helped Save the Children continue their vital work, keeping children safe, healthy, and learning both here in the UK and around the world. Every pound raised goes towards life-changing support, such as:
£2 could buy seeds for a family in Kenya to grow food after drought.
£8 could provide a blanket to keep a child in Ukraine warm this winter.
£15 could fund two weeks of peanut paste to help a child beat hunger.

Breakfast Club
To ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pupils, we kindly remind parents and guardians that Breakfast Club admission runs strictly between 8:20 and 8:30am. For safeguarding reasons, children arriving after 8:30am will not be admitted. It is essential that pupils don't access the school site until 8.15am as nobody is available to supervise children on the yard at this time.
It is essential that every child is personally handed over to a member of the Breakfast Club team at the main doors. Please do not leave the premises until this handover has been completed. These procedures are in place to protect all children. If you miss the deadline for entry you will need to wait with your child and ensure they enter school through their allocated class entrance. Thank you for your cooperation and continued support.
Brawddegau Bendigedig Bryn Hyfryd
Next week, our theme for our Wal Graffiti will be changing to 'Nadolig' - 'Christmas'
Here's some sentence starters that the children could use:
Hoffwn i....
I would like
Dwi'n dwli ar....
I love....
Dwi'n chwarae rhan...
I'm playing the part of...
You could really help your children at home by looking up some Welsh vocabulary around the subject of Christmas - maybe characters in the Nativity, or the names of some of the toys they'd like!
Blwyddyn 6 can't wait to see all the graffiti ffantasteg on the new Wal Graffiti!
Timber Trail Installation
Safety Reminder: To keep everyone safe, we kindly ask that pupils do not use the Timber Trail before or after school. The equipment must only be used under staff supervision during the school day. Thank you for helping us keep playtime safe and fun for all!
Safeguarding - Access and Egress to Y1
To help ensure a calm and safe end to the school day, we kindly ask Year 1 parents to collect their children from the top yard using the designated pathways. Please avoid walking around the pathway directly outside the Year 1 room, as this area becomes congested and can make it difficult for pupils to spot their grown-ups.
Your support helps us create a smoother, less stressful transition for our youngest learners. Thank you for helping us keep things running safely and smoothly!
Important Reminder regarding 'No Nuts in School'
We kindly remind all parents and carers that our school is a nut-free zone. This means that nuts and nut-based products must not be brought in snacks or packed lunches. Several of our students have severe nut allergies, and even trace amounts can trigger life-threatening reactions. These allergies are not just uncomfortable, they can be extremely dangerous, requiring immediate medical attention. By keeping nuts out of school, we’re helping to create a safe and inclusive environment for every child. Thank you for your continued support and vigilance in protecting our students’ health.
School Attendance
Remember not to take holidays in term time. Poor attendance can significantly impact on the well-being and academic attainment of your child. Our attendance target is 96.% for the whole school. Please see chart which demonstrates the effects of good and poor attendance. Our current whole school attendance is 95.71%. If your child is unwell please contact the school office.
