This Term's Learning:
Y6 pupils enjoyed celebrating Dydd Miwsig Cymru (Welsh Music Day). They listened to lots of different Welsh music and rated them. Pupil then used their Welsh oracy skills to discuss their favourite and least favourite songs.
Pupils have written lovely poems this week in preparation for the Eisteddfod.
Y6 have been working hard this term, refining their poetry skills following the brilliant workshop by Alex Wharton.
This week, we continued exploring the effects of burning fossil fuels. Pupils investigated how combustion works and took part in thoughtful group discussions about who they believe should take responsibility for tackling climate change.
Y6 pupils have enjoyed celebrating Dydd Santes Dywnwen. They have completed lots of different activities and have produced some lovely work.
This week pupils have been researching the 'Cause and Effect' of early energy sources.
Pupils began exploring the different types of energy and power and how they have been used throughout time.
