We enjoyed baking our 'Funnybones' gingerbread biscuits today.

Congratulations to our learners on receiving their Kerbcraft certificates! They have worked hard to develop their road safety skills and should be very proud of their achievements. Well done, everyone!
In a dark, dark street..." We had a fantastic time bringing the story of Funnybones to life through role play. The children enjoyed acting out their favourite parts of the story, developing their confidence, creativity and storytelling skills while having lots of fun!
We proudly wore red to support Show Racism the Red Card, learning about kindness, respect and the importance of treating everyone equally. Together, we celebrated diversity and stood up against racism.
We have been learning number bonds to 100 (in 10s) through a range of engaging activities. The children enjoyed investigating, playing games and solving challenges while building their mathematical skills.
We celebrated Shwmae Day, embracing the Welsh language and encouraging learners to use as much Welsh as possible throughout the day. The learners created colourful posters to promote the importance of speaking Welsh and demonstrated fantastic enthusiasm by using their Welsh confidently around the school.

Difference Lesson - today we created obstacle courses. Taking turns, we had to guide our partners through the courses whilst they were wearing a blindfold! We talked about how this made us feel.
We took our learning outside to practise counting in 2s, 5s and 10s by jumping along a giant number line. This active maths lesson helped the children develop their counting skills while enjoying the fresh air and having fun with their friends.
Dosbarth Brychan enjoyed taking part in a Kerbcraft lesson, developing their road safety skills through practical, hands-on learning. They practised how to choose safe places to cross the road and learned important strategies to help them cross at a T-junction. Well done to everyone for their excellent listening
We worked collaboratively to sort different foods into the five food groups, developing our understanding of healthy eating and making thoughtful choices about the foods we eat.
Fantastic mathematical learning in Year 2! The children have been developing their understanding of place value by representing numbers in different ways, discussing their ideas and using practical equipment to support their learning.

For our second lesson following the Difference program, we discussed our hopes and fears. We explored our outdoor area looking for items that symbolise hope and fear.
