At different points in the year, your teachers will talk to you about your ability as a learner. They will focus on 5 areas or what we will call the creative habits of learning. These habits are Inquisitive, Collaboration, Disciplined, Imaginative and Persistent. They are key to your success in learning and valuable as you continue to learn throughout your life.

In every subject area, the learning you experience will allow you to be curious, dig deeper and challenge yourself. You will be given the opportunity to trial ideas, complete tasks independently and work on your own, in pairs and in groups. You will be asked to demonstrate your knowledge. You will receive feedback and you will be asked to reflect on what you are good at and what you need to do to improve. Your learning will be developmental and challenging. We will encourage you to take risks. We want you to keep going when things are difficult.
