All about ME!!!

Hi, my name is Gavin

My name is Gavin and I am a year 5 teacher. I'm 43 years old and live near St. Helens.

I enjoy playing rugby, but now I'm old it hurts a lot more.

I try to keep fit, but that hurts in the morning now too. As my partners children have got older, I have also become a taxi driver (without the payment), because I take them to the sports and activities they like to do.

What makes me happy in life is... seeing the people who are special to me happy. I enjoy keeping fit and playing sport. I also enjoy watching sport and still go to watch Wales playing rugby.

I enjoy going out for meals and always try something new when we go somewhere special. But, for lunch in school I usually eat the same thing everyday.

What makes me happy in school is... 5A, they work super hard and all seem like they want to learn which makes my job easy and fun!!

What people like and admire about me is...

He's nice because he helps people when we need help- Lily

I like to be helped by... someone who will explain how or why something works. I am happy to ask for help and always happy to learn.

If I don't understand I need to have what is being explained to have a context I understand.

On the sports field I liked to be helped by someone else making the tackle in rugby, it hurts me less.

What my family think about me...

Gavin is kind hearted and he is always willing to help others. He is always full of fun and a practical joker. Sometimes he thinks he knows more then everybody else!!! (Gavin's now ex-girlfriend)

My aspirations

When I am older I would like to be happily retired with Katie, and know all her children are happy with the lives they have.
