Below are key Local Authority services and Third Sector organisations who can offer support to schools, families and young people who may be experiencing EBSA.

Conwy County Borough Council services

The EBSA pathway has been developed in collaboration with a range of services to meet the needs of pupils at risk of EBSA and experiencing EBSA in Conwy. The pathway aims to provide a consistent approach for Conwy schools when supporting pupils with EBSA.


The following services have been key in the development of the pathway and can be accessed through schools’ normal processes for requesting support.

Health services

It may be necessary to consult with medical professionals who will be accessed through schools’ normal processes for requesting support and advice. Some examples of Health services who schools may wish to consult with include;

  • School Nurse

  • CAMHS

  • Speech and Language

  • Local Integrated Families Team

  • The Local Integrated Family Team (LIFT) is a multi-agency team made up of staff from Conwy, Denbighshire and Betsi Cadwaladr University Hospital Trust. LIFT helps families with managing children’s challenging behaviour at home.
