Here is an example of the final product that you will be working towards.
Depending on how you manage your time, you will have more/less time for editing your iMovie.
Check out the success criteria below.
Criteria of your final outcome:
Take 5 images of different stages of our pūrākau
Use Live Loops to create sounds that match the mood and tone of the image and time in the story
Add in instruments to develop a rhythm and beat into your soundscape
Finally, bring all of your images and soundscapes together in iMovie
What is our session going to look like:
5 minutes - Introduction
5 minutes - Quick discussion about the different stages of our pūrākau
10 minutes - Get together in groups and take photos of 5 different scenes from the story. Think carefully about the thoughts and feelings of each of the characters
10 minutes - Masterclass on how to use Garageband (Live Loops and Instruments)
20 minutes - Create Time
5 minutes - Masterclass on iMovie
10 minutes - Create Time
15 minutes - Creating your iMovie, putting in sounds and images
10 minutes - Sharing back
