The Adventure of Dr. Gilbert Lewis & His Dot Structures

The date is March 9th, 1946. The importance...it is the day that Dr. Gilbert Lewis went missing. Is it a coincidence that it was exactly 30 years to the day after he published his paper on bonding? Is it a coincidence that it is exactly 3 weeks before Dr. Lewis must come up with $40,000 (that's a lot of money back then!) so that his lab can stay open? Is it a coincidence that it is exactly 2 weeks before he is supposed to receive the Willard Gibb's Award for his contributions to Chemistry? All that is known to this point is that Dr. Lewis was last seen at the Cobblestone (a locab grubbery) . You and his other employees at his lab have made it your mission to find Dr. Lewis. The mission is to uncover the truth about Gilbert Lewis's whereabouts, free him from his capture, and to transport him to receive the Willard Gibbs Award. Solve all the clues left by the person or persons who took Dr. Lewis to set him free. Failure to do so will ultimately lead to the shut down of Dr. Lewis's Lab as well as your employment at his lab.

After doing some initial detective work, you have discovered an underground laboratory near the Cobblestone. Search the laboratory for clues that could lead to Dr. Lewis's whereabouts.
