Does this course count?

• While students are given a pass or fail grade, each benchmark of the capstone process is scored. Their overall score will determine if they pass or fail. Scores will be recorded in OnCourse throughout the semester and should be checked by students and parents.

Why did my student get moved to a different class?

• After all students have submitted their topic applications, they will be re-grouped from their initial placements. This may result in students having a different teacher than initially assigned. The update will be made in OnCourse. The groups will be created based on similar topics as well as teacher background and ability to support students in particular areas.

How much homework will be assigned?

• Homework is not assigned for this course. The only time work will be essential outside of class time is if a student has not made good use of class time and has fallen behind. Students will be instructed to work on the assignments outside of class as needed.
