Español 6: Class overview
The goal of the Spanish 6 program is to continue to develop the linguistic and communicative skills introduced at the elementary level and to further prepare students for Spanish 7. In order to achieve this goal, students will be provided with extensive vocabulary, grammatical foundational concepts, culturally sound exposure and the ability to further develop a second language.

Español 7: Class overview
Spanish 7 follows Spanish 6 in the middle school course of study. Spanish 7 curriculum builds upon vocabulary and grammar structures introduced in Spanish 6. Students will continue to expand their vocabulary on a range of relevant topics, while further developing grammatical skills using present tense verb conjugations.

Español 8: Class overview
The most important goal in Spanish 8 is the continued development of essential linguistic and communicative skills in Spanish through vocabulary and grammatical concepts. Students will read, speak, write and present. Students’ knowledge of grammatical concepts is expanded to include more structures.

My name is Alison Douglas.
I have been a middle and high school Spanish teacher for 17 years. I love sharing my love of Spanish culture and language with my students! Last summer I brought a student group to Costa Rica and would love to travel in the future with some Timberlane kids! I live in Lambertville with my husband and 2 children.
