Day 12

Objective: Students will be able to model the flow of energy and matter in an environment. The students will also be able to explain the impact of human activity.

Introductory Activity: The students will have a warm-up.

Instructional Activity: The students will learn about the carbon cycle (slides 27-29). They will then have a POGIL to complete for the carbon cycle. If there’s time, the students will play the carbon cycle game.

Differentiation:

Evaluation of Objective: The students will submit their nutrient cycle POGIL.
