Growing up just outside of Philadelphia, Jen earned her undergraduate degree in Social Work at Temple University. After spending a few years in Colorado, Jen pursued her Master’s degree from University of Vermont in counseling. Jen thinks middle school is an exciting time of transition for students and families. Jen views her work through a family-systems lens and loves to work with families and caregivers during this exciting time of middle school transition. Jen is passionate about encouraging students to discover who they are and to grow into their full potential.
When Jen isn't working she enjoys spending time with her two kids, husband and dog, and loves cooking, crafting, snowboarding, skiing, running, hiking, biking, paddle-boarding and any activity that involves being outdoors.
Erin Silcox comes from all over the US but most recently moved back to Vermont from Jackson, WY. While in Wyoming, Erin taught and led the school within a wilderness therapy residential treatment center. She also met her husband there and had three kids in the Rockies. In Wyoming, Erin earned a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction involving a research/teaching assistantship, a qualitative research minor, and a dissertation studying trauma-informed instructional approaches. She loves anything outdoors and active, sure to jump at the chance to ascend and descend mountains. In her free time, she also enjoys reading, cooking, organizing, and seeing live music with besties.
