Theatre Arts classes teach and build on the principles of acting, helping students to come out of their shells and conquer the stage in creative productions.
Technical Theatre classes teach students aspects of costume design, scenic design, scenic painting, 3D design, construction of scale models, and more! These classes aim to take students from ideas into designs, building the skills necessary to bring the magic of the stage to life!
Production classes combine acting and technical aspects in student-led productions each semester. Shows are directed, designed, and executed by the student body, allowing growing actors and designers the autonomy necessary to realize their own ideas and assess individual responsibility while learning collaboration.
Musical Theatre classes combine acting with vocals and choreography, aiding in the production of the department's musical in the fall semester and in the production of a showcase in the spring.
