My name is (Mary) Denise Gary and I will be working at Gus Almquist Middle School Library this year as the Library Media Specialist. I will also be the Co-librarian at Kerley Elementary.  I have been a librarian for 13 years and an educator for 11 years prior. 

I have a bachelor's degree from Houston Baptist University with a double major in Speech and Mass Media. I also earned a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Reading from Sam Houston State University. My second Master's degree is in Library Science, also from Sam Houston State University.  

My husband and I live in Pflugerville with one of our daughters and 2 dogs, Wrigley & Scout. Our oldest daughter lives in Stillwater, OK.
