Our goal in music is for our students to develop their own musicianship through singing, playing instruments and creating their own sounds, rhythms and tunes. My hope is that all students achieve Basic Music Competence.
Basic Music Competence is the ability to sing in tune, keep a beat and participate with confidence and pleasure in the music of our culture, including instrumental study, if one so chooses. (Music Together, LLC)
