Let me say how happy I am to be here!  Hutto Elementary is such a great school!  

Let me tell a little bit about myself.  I grew up in El Paso, Texas.  I attended Southwest Texas State University and received a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education.   I fell in love with the process of reading.  I attended The University of Texas at Arlington and received my Master's of Education in Triple Literacy.  I am a certified Reading Specialist and a Reading Master Teacher.  I  continued my quest to learn about reading and became a CALT. I am also a Wilson Reading System Certified Practitioner.   This will be my 28th year of teaching.  I love what I do and am here to help in any way I can.

I am so happy to be here and am excited about working with you and your child.
