Welcome Artists and Families,

My name is Mrs. Fulp and I am so excited to to be a part of Hutto Elementary!  More importantly, I am THRILLED to be your ART teacher this year!  It is going to be a fun year full of learning and adventures! I want to get to know all about you, but here is a little about me first!

I grew up in Hutto and was part of the very first kindergarten class here at HES! I graduated from Hutto High School and then attended Texas State University - San Marcos (formerly, SWT) where I majored in elementary education.  I couldn't wait to graduate so I could have a classroom of my own.  I am entering my 19th year of teaching with experience in all grade levels. I hold certifications in PK-6th, GT, ESL, and Art! I am looking forward to a year full of growing academically and personally.

I am married and we have 1 child - Delaney (who is a senior this year), 2 labs, a new puppy, a bunny, 2 cats,  and 10,000 honey bees.  In my spare time I enjoy reading, art (painting, hand-lettering, doodling), Crossfit, shopping, and spending time with family!  I enjoy flavored water, iced coffee, unsweetened tea, dark chocolate and I LOVE all things cactus and hippos.  Also, I have a slight obsession with office supplies! 

I believe teaching is a privilege as well as a responsibility.  I will do my best to ensure that everyone has a motivating and safe learning experience in the classroom, but I can’t do it alone; I’ll need your help!  We are partners in the learning process, thus, I have an open door policy.  Come visit, call, or email if any questions arise or you just need to make a comment/offer a suggestion.  

I am really looking forward to seeing familiar faces and meeting new families, so… let’s get this art party started!!
