Security
Hutch Hotel undertake to treat all data about clients and prospective clients as strictly confidential and will not be sold or passed onto any third parties.
Any client details will be kept securely and any clients who no longer wish to use our service, will have their details destroyed.
Charges & Cancellations
A non-refundable 20% deposit secures your booking. The remaining balance of the initial bill is then due 7 days before drop off. If payment is not received, then the booking will be cancelled, and the slot(s) will be released with no refunding of the deposit.
To cancel or alter the dates of your booking: if you give at least 30 days’ notice then you shall just forfeit your deposit. If you give 7-29 days’ notice, then you shall forfeit 50% of the total fee and if you give less than 7 days’ notice then you shall forfeit 100% of the total fee.
Please note there are no refunds if you collect your pet early.
If pick up is delayed beyond 7pm on the day of collection, additional nights will be charged accordingly. Clients must inform Hutch Hotel as soon as they are aware that they will be delayed.
Clients will receive an initial bill of payment upon booking. A final bill will be issued at the end of the stay, which must be paid upon collection.
Insurance
Hutch Hotel are covered by their own public liability insurance.
Hutch Hotel will care for your animal as you would, and whilst we will make every effort to ensure your pet is well looked after in your absence, Hutch Hotel cannot be held liable for any loss, injury or death to a pet either inside or outside of the home whilst in our care.
Miscellaneous
Hutch Hotel will provide food and clean bedding for your pet. The client must provide any specific and/or additional items required (i.e. specific dietary food, medication, toys, etc). Should pets require any additional supplies whilst in the care of Hutch Hotel these will be purchased and added to your final bill.
The client must provide Hutch Hotel with the name and contact number of someone capable of making a decision relating to the pet(s) in an emergency. If the contact is not available Hutch Hotel reserves the right to consult with a veterinary surgeon and then make a decision which is in the best interests of the animal.
Hutch Hotel will not be held liable for any illnesses or injuries your pets may suffer whilst using our services, nor for the death of a pet.
The client is responsible for any veterinary bills, no matter how they are incurred, whilst pets are in the care of Hutch Hotel.
Hutch Hotel will not accept bookings for any pets with aggressive tendencies.
In the case of non-collection of pets, the client will be contacted. If no contact can be made for 48 hours after the date of collection, Hutch Hotel will consider the pet abandoned and make arrangements accordingly. If contact is made within 48 hours and the pet collected, the additional time will be charged with an additional £5 fee per day.
Hutch Hotel reserve the right to refuse bookings for any reason including if the pet is unwell and a stay away from their home and family would be detrimental from their health and/or wellbeing.
If Hutch Hotel believe that an animal is being mistreated or neglected, a vet will be consulted, and advice sought on the appropriate action to be taken. These costs will be added to the clients’ final bill.
