This is the designated page for our School Musical this year. We will be doing "Seussical Jr."
a fun warm-hearted musical combining the most beloved Dr. Seuss stories including Horton Hears a Who,
The Cat in the Hat, and Horton Sits on Egg, Gertrude McFuzz (and more!)

AUDITION AND SHOW INFO

Auditions - Monday September 29th
Auditions will begin with the younger grades and they will be dismissed as we see them audition. Plan on about 30-45 minutes per grade.
5th-6th graders will stay the entire time. Each student will sing 1 song from the audition folder and do a short dance number as a group.
A great way to prepare is to watch video of our last Seussical show HERE and study how the characters show facial expressions,
strong physical gestures and overall energy. Pay attention to the heart and feelings of the story. Kids can also read the
Dr. Seuss stories listed above for more understanding of the fun characters in this show!

Rehearsals Start on Monday October 20th

Rehearsal Schedule - Mondays 4pm-7pm @ Kraemer Middle School

Tech Week and Show Dates - January 25th-February 1st (2026) - Performances will be at the Valencia High School Auditorium
