STEP 2: If you have a real estate license number and are ready to apply with Epique Realty. (or once you're license is approved and you have a license number)

You will go to JoinEpique.com -- I suggest contacting the agent who most influenced you to join and ask them for the legal name and license number. 

Remember to put your sponsor's name on the application so we can thank them!
You may want to reach out to get their legal name and license number to avoid any confusion, or even Zoom and make the application together! 

YOU CAN NEVER CHANGE THIS PERSON. You must confirm at least three times that this person most influenced you to join.
(No empty promises, no poaching, just authentically the person you align with the most, answered your questions, and you feel in your gut is your sponsor.) 

Once you have completed your join app, you can expect a Welcome E-mail from the Designated Managing Broker of Iowa. Your area leader will also be in touch and will be your primary contact moving forward. However, remember that Holly is always available to state-specific questions, ensuring you always have the support you need.

STEP 3: Once this occurs and the Iowa Real Estate Commission has confirmed your license transfer you will receive a Welcome email from Epique Realty to confirm your email address and be assigned your @Epique.me email alias. 

STEP 4: Activate or update your REALTOR Association Membership

If this is your first time as a real estate licensee, you will need to pay an initial fee, the annual membership fee (prorated for the month in which you join), including state and local fess. If you are already a member in another region/state, you will need to join an Iowa Realtor Association in order to gain access to Iowa Association of Realtor (IAR) Forms in Form Simplicity and join an association with secondary membership status. (It may be easier to make Iowa your primary state, so something to look into.) If you are transferring from another brokerage and just need to update your brokerage affiliation on your existing membership, contact your local association and let them know. STEP 5: Activate MLS (Multiple Listing Services) Participation

If you already have MLS Access you'll need to change your brokerage affiliation. Don’t forget to update your profile and signature. If this is your first time registering for the MLS use, you'll need to submit an application to a local MLS. You’ll find broker-signed membership and transfer forms here. If the form for your local MLS is not there, please reach out to them directly as their process is something other than a form. After you are added to Epique Realty in Iowa through the MLS, you will need to update your email signature and other profile items.
Find out from your local association how the lock boxes work- do you check them out? buy your own? they are all different.

STEP 6: Set Up Your Email Signature (See Sample Below)

According to the Iowa Real Estate Commission, your email signature is required to have these three things:
1.) Firm's Name as Registered with the commission: EPIQUE REALTY or Brokered by Epique Realty
2.) City and State in which the Firm's Main Office is Located: West Des Moines, IA
3.) States in which the Firm and Licensees hold a license...
