The OHHS Chick-Fil-A Leader Academy is hosting a Pickleball event to fundraise money to aid disadvantaged students dealing with issues such as homelessness in our school. Through this event, we hope to raise enough funds to provide supplies that disadvantaged students are in need of. With the decline of help for these students, we would like to step in to make an impact in their lives, as well as the lives of future OHHS students that find themselves in the same situations.
The OHHS Chick-Fil-A Leader Academy hosts an impact project once a year to make a impact on their community. For this year, the club has chosen to host a Pickleball Tournament! Anyone from novice to expert can to sign up to compete in the tournament and will be placed in an appropriate competitive level. Participants will be facing off in either women's or men's doubles. The Pickleball Tournament will be held on the tennis courts at Oak Hills High School.
Children will also be able to participate in the event through our pickleball clinic taught by experienced players from around the high desert, allowing them to learn the basics of the game and put their newfound skills to use on the court.
During the tournament and clinic, all are invited to have fun at our PL-A Mor Jamboree. It will include exciting games and activities that are hosted by our school's many extracurricular clubs.
Come out and be a part of the fun!
