The HHS Library's goal is to empower students and staff to become critical thinkers and lifelong learners. In today’s 24/7 digital world—where artificial intelligence is changing how we find and create content—we teach students to efficiently search for, critically evaluate, and ethically use information from all sources, including AI. Whether preparing for the next grade, college, or a future career, students rely on our library for diverse reading materials, digital research & presentation tools, and hands-on guidance in navigating modern information responsibly. Also, we have coffee.

Ms. Michelle Harris

District Librarian

Ms. Harris is available in the HJSHS Library on Mondays and Fridays and on sporadic days/times in between. Available via email ALL the time! harrism@husd4.org

Loves: reading, finding the perfect book for a reader, playing with tech, kayaking, British movies, dark chocolate, sunshine, and savoring coffee. Or tea. Possibly cookies.

Favorite Books: sci-fi/fantasy, award nominees, Harry Potter, non-fiction, mysteries, and classic British novels.

Mrs. Jessica Miner

Library Aide

Mrs. Miner is available daily in the HJSHS Library and she is happy to help with all your reading & Chromebook needs. minerj@husd4.org

Loves: running, traveling, hanging with her family, talking to people, and drinking coffee.

Favorite Books: Horror, Crime, Mystery, and any book where bad things happen.
